Hanami is the Sakura Cherry Blossom viewing festival
Hina Matsuri is the girls day festival of dolls.
Thousands are displayed, but all are unique and superb.
Bon Odori is the dance festival. Taiko drums and circular dance format.
Many endure the pain of their local festivals carrying the Omikoshi shrines around their area.
In other areas traditional dances replace this event.
